Who we are
Primary Colours is a student-run theatre company based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin that strives to produce high quality shows, ranging from classics to contemporary to original student-written works. All aspects of this company, from production planning to directing and acting is done by students.
Students currently involved in Primary Colours attend Brookfield East High School, De Paul University Theatre School, Divine Savior Holy Angels High School, Homestead High School, Marquette University High School, Milwaukee High School of the Arts, Northwestern University, Pius XI High School, Riverside University High School, Shorewood High School, Wauwatosa East High School, the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, amongst others.
Our mission and vision
Primary Colours Theatre provides a variety of high quality, passionate theatrical experiences to students and their community. We seek to add a youthful flair to the shows we produce while keeping our focus on the basic human act of storytelling and our productions no more expensive than the average student can afford. We encourage students to create their own unique opportunities as well as opening performance, planning, and production opportunities normally not available to high school and college students.
Administrative Team
Primary Colours is led by a 7-member committee known as the Administrative Team. For the Summer 2007 season, the team comprises Alyx Campbell, Gracie De Wolff, Laura Elleseg, John Gleason Teske, Patrick Schley, Beth Topczewski, and Raechel Zarzynski.
